Presently i’m reading two books. One a classic, and another from a new author – A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth and The Serpentine Scrolls by Alcatraz Dey.
The Serpentine Scrolls is about a young man who find himself in a web of mysteries, deceptions, adventures and we travel along. I almost completed reading the book, with a few pages remaining, which would be completed tonight. The author Ajay Kumar, in his pseudonym Alcatraz Dey has done a good job with his book, and it doesn’t show as a debut novel.
A Suitable Boy is one of the best among the classics of modern Indian English Literature. It is a journey of a soothing, comfortable boat ride of about 1500 pages, which has several vistas, to be experienced and enjoyed all along! I’m travelling along, enjoying the ride!
