From the shelf I took
A big fat book
Back came a friend
Asked me to lend
Gave without a look
Saw the chocolate which I bought
It gave me a little thought

For a packet of Lays
For which we fought
I sat on the chair, very tired
Thinking to do something weird

Post it in the media,
But still sitting, scratching my beard.

And here goes my first Limerick..
Hearing the mouse click,
Wanted to do something quick
Combed the Internet,
Decided to write a Sonnet
But here with a Limerick.
And I have just followed the rhyming scheme here, not the syllable meter. Would try to include it in future Limericks.
